Pixbo Wallenstam IBF was one of 81 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2016. They participated with 9 teams in 8 out of Göteborg Cup Innebandys all 18 categories. The team in Pojkar 14 (2001) made it to the the in Gruppspeland won it over Rotebro IS IBK 1 by 2-0.

In addition to this, Pixbo Wallenstam IBF have participated in Göteborg Cup Innebandy before. During Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2015, Pixbo Wallenstam IBF had 10 teams playing in 9 out of Göteborg Cup Innebandys all 18 categories. Six teams played until Final in Slutspel; Herrjuniorer 18 (1996-97) won over Lindome IBK by 6-4, Flickor 12 (2002) won over IK Zenith by 1-0, Flickor 13 (2001) won over FBC Lerum by 4-3, Damer won over Surte IS IBK by 5-3, Pojkar 15 (1999) lost against Bergs IK by 0-1 and Damjuniorer 18 (1996-97) lost against Fristad GoIF by 0-2.

Pixbo Wallenstam IBF comes from Mölnlycke which lies approximately 12 km from Göteborg, where Göteborg Cup Innebandy takes place. The area around Mölnlycke does also provide 25 additional clubs participating during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2016 (Among others: Lindås Waves IBK, Sävedalens IBK, IBF Göteborg, FBC Lerum, IK Zenith, Partille IBS, Marstrands IBK, IBK Göteborg, Lindome IBK and IBF Älvstranden).
