Sandö IBK

Sandö IBK was one of 72 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2017. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 11 (2005) and Pojkar 16 (2000) respectively. The team in Pojkar 16 (2000) made it to the the 1/4 Final in Slutspel, but lost it against Sarpsborg IBK by 0-1.

In addition to this, Sandö IBK have participated in Göteborg Cup Innebandy before. During Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2016, Sandö IBK had three teams playing in Pojkar 13 (2002), Pojkar 15 (2000) and Damer respectively. The team in Damer made it to the the in Gruppspel, but lost it against IBK Göteborg by 0-2.

Sandö IBK comes from Vallda which lies approximately 26 km from Göteborg, where Göteborg Cup Innebandy takes place. The area around Vallda does also provide 19 additional clubs participating during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2017 (Among others: Lindås Waves IBK, FBC Vinga, Varla/Sandö IBK, IBF Backadalen, IBF Älvstranden, Partille IBS, Mölndals IBF, Särö Seahawks IBK, Sävedalens IBK and IBF Göteborg).
