Frölunda IBK was one of 86 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2015. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 11 (2003) and Herrar respectively. The team in Herrar made it to the the in Gruppspel, but lost it against Sportlife KIBK Hålta by 1-2.

Frölunda IBK comes from Västra Frölunda which lies approximately 5 km from Göteborg, where Göteborg Cup Innebandy takes place. The area around Västra Frölunda does also provide 25 additional clubs participating during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2015 (Among others: Lindås Waves IBK, Öckerö IBK, FBC Lerum, Pixbo Wallenstam IBF, IBF Göteborg, Särö Seahawks IBK, IBF Backadalen, Pixbo Wallenstam IBK, IK Zenith and Marstrands IBK).
