IBF Älvstranden was one of 86 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2015. They participated with four teams in Pojkar 11 (2003), Herrjuniorer 18 (1996-97) and Herrar respectively. The team in Herrjuniorer 18 (1996-97) made it to the the in Gruppspel, but lost it against IBK Lidköping by 1-3.

IBF Älvstranden comes from Kärna which lies approximately 18 km from Göteborg, where Göteborg Cup Innebandy takes place. The area around Kärna does also provide 24 additional clubs participating during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2015 (Among others: Lindås Waves IBK, Öckerö IBK, Stenungsunds IBK, FBC Lerum, Pixbo Wallenstam IBF, IBF Göteborg, Särö Seahawks IBK, IBF Backadalen, Pixbo Wallenstam IBK and Frölunda IBK).
