Värmdö IF was one of 86 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2015. They participated with one team in Herrar.

In addition to Värmdö IF, 23 other teams played in Herrar. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Värmdö IF could be found in Group C together with IF Marin Väst, Surte IS IBK, Öjaby Sport, Kristinehamns IBF and IBK Alingsås.

Värmdö IF continued to Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group C. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Stenungsunds IBK 2 with 2-3. In the Final, IBK Alingsås won over Stenungsunds IBK 2 and became the winner of Slutspel in Herrar.

Värmdö comes from stockholm which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Göteborg Cup Innebandy takes place. The area around stockholm does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2015 (Vaxholm IBF, Älvsjö IBK, Nacka Wallenstam IBK, Vendelsö IK, Salems IF, IK Malmen, Djurgården IBF, Rotebro IS IBK and Åkersberga IBF).
