Malmö FBC was one of 81 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2016. They participated with one team in Pojkar 14 (2001).
In addition to Malmö FBC, 17 other teams played in Pojkar 14 (2001). They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Malmö FBC could be found in Group B together with Rotebro IS IBK 2, Lindome IBK, Pixbo Wallenstam IBF 2, Myggenäs IBK and Linköping IBK. Malmö FBC continued to Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Salems IF 2 with 0-5. In the Final, Salems IF 2 won over IBF Göteborg and became the winner of Slutspel in Pojkar 14 (2001). Malmö FBC comes from Malmö which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Göteborg Cup Innebandy takes place.
