In addition to Lindome IBK, 9 other teams played in Herrjuniorer 18 (1997-98). They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Lindome IBK could be found in Group B together with IBK Lidköping, Olofströms IBK, FBI Tullinge and Sävedalens IBK.
Lindome IBK continued to Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Arlanda IBK with 1-4. In the Final, Mölndals IBF won over Arlanda IBK and became the winner of Slutspel in Herrjuniorer 18 (1997-98). Lindome IBK also participated in Herrjuniorer 18 (1996-97) during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2015.
