Lindome IBK was one of 72 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2017. They participated with three teams in Pojkar 10 (2006), Pojkar 15 (2001) and Flickor 16 (2000-01) respectively. The team in Flickor 16 (2000-01) made it to the the Final in Slutspel, but lost it against IBF Linköping by 0-1.

In addition to this, Lindome IBK have participated in Göteborg Cup Innebandy before. During Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2016, Lindome IBK had 5 teams playing in Pojkar 14 (2001), Herrjuniorer 18 (1997-98), Flickor 13 (2002), Flickor 15 (2000) and Damer respectively. The team in Pojkar 14 (2001) made it to the the in Gruppspel, but lost it against Malmö FBC by 3-4.

Lindome IBK comes from Bua which lies approximately 53 km from Göteborg, where Göteborg Cup Innebandy takes place. The area around Bua does also provide four additional clubs participating during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2017 (Varla/Sandö IBK, Särö Seahawks IBK, Varla IBK and Sandö IBK).
