Kärra IBK was one of 64 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2018. They participated with three teams in Pojkar 11 (06) and Herrar (A-licens) respectively. The team in Herrar (A-licens) made it to the the 1/8 Final in Slutspel, but lost it against STC Kungälv IBK by 0-5.

In addition to this, Kärra IBK have participated in Göteborg Cup Innebandy before. During Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2017, Kärra IBK had three teams playing in Pojkar 12 (2004), Pojkar 13 (2003) and Flickor 11 (2005) respectively. The team in Pojkar 12 (2004) made it to the the Final in Slutspel, but lost it against FBC Lerum by 0-8.

Kärra IBK comes from Kungälv which lies approximately 21 km from Göteborg, where Göteborg Cup Innebandy takes place. The area around Kungälv does also provide 23 additional clubs participating during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2018 (Among others: Pixbo Wallenstam IBF, Floda IBK Göteborg, Partille IBS, Lindome IBK, IK Zenith, Floda IBK, IBF Göteborg, FBC Lerum, Stenungsunds IBK and Lindås Waves IBK).
