IBK Genarp was one of 64 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2018. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 10 (07) and Pojkar 14 (03) respectively. The team in Pojkar 14 (03) made it to the the Final in Slutspeland won it over IBF Göteborg by 4-2.

In addition to this, IBK Genarp have participated in Göteborg Cup Innebandy before. During Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2017, IBK Genarp had one team playing in Pojkar 13 (2003). The team in Pojkar 13 (2003) made it to the the Final in Slutspeland won it over IK Zenith 2 by 5-0.

IBK Genarp comes from Genarp which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Göteborg Cup Innebandy takes place. The area around Genarp does also provide two additional clubs participating during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2018 (IBS Svedala and IBK Lund).
