Värnamo IK was one of 64 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2018. They participated with two teams in Flickor 15 (02) and Damer (A-licens) respectively. The team in Damer (A-licens) made it to the the Semi final in Slutspel, but lost it against Älvsjö AIK IBF Dam (A) by 1-8.

In addition to this, Värnamo IK have participated in Göteborg Cup Innebandy before. During Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2017, Värnamo had one team playing in Damjuniorer 18 (1998-99). The team in Damjuniorer 18 (1998-99) made it to the the Final in Slutspel, but lost it against Pixbo Wallenstam IBF by 1-2.
