In addition to Marstrands IBK, 14 other teams played in Damer (A-licens). They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Marstrands IBK could be found in Group C together with Täby FC, Partille IBS Div 3, Hovslätts IK and Pixbo Wallenstam IBF Div 1.
Marstrands IBK continued to Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group C. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Pixbo Wallenstam IBF with 2-3. In the Final, Älvsjö AIK IBF Dam (A) won over Pixbo Wallenstam IBF and became the winner of Slutspel in Damer (A-licens). Marstrands IBK also participated in Damer during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2017.
