Fristad GoIF continued to Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Nacka Wallenstam IBK with 0-3. In the Final, Nacka Wallenstam IBK won over Bele Barkarby IF and became the winner of Slutspel in Damjuniorer 18 (1997-98).
