Frölunda IBK

Frölunda IBK was one of 72 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2017. They participated with four teams in Pojkar 13 (2003), Pojkar 14 (2002), Herrar and Flickor 11 (2005) respectively. The team in Pojkar 14 (2002) made it to the the Final in Slutspel, but lost it against Mölndals IBF by 1-2.

In addition to this, Frölunda IBK have participated in Göteborg Cup Innebandy before. During Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2016, Frölunda IBK had three teams playing in Pojkar 10 (2005), Pojkar 12 (2003) and Herrar respectively. The team in Herrar made it to the the in Gruppspeland won it over Göteborg City IBK by 3-2.

Frölunda IBK comes from Askim which lies approximately 7 km from Göteborg, where Göteborg Cup Innebandy takes place. The area around Askim does also provide 23 additional clubs participating during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2017 (Among others: Lindås Waves IBK, FBC Vinga, Varla/Sandö IBK, IBF Backadalen, IBF Älvstranden, Surte IS IBK, Floda IBK, Partille IBS, Mölndals IBF and Särö Seahawks IBK).
