In addition to Linköping IBK, 8 other teams played in Pojkar 16 (2000). They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Linköping IBK could be found in Group B together with Sportlife Kungälv IBK, Svenljunga IBK 2 and Sarpsborg IBK.
Linköping IBK made it to Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group B. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Tunet IBK, which they won with 3-2. Thereby Linköping IBK won the entire Slutspel in Pojkar 16 (2000) during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2017. Linköping IBK also participated in Pojkar 14 (2001) during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2016.
