In addition to Sarpsborg IBK, 8 other teams played in Pojkar 16 (2000). They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Sarpsborg IBK could be found in Group B together with Sportlife Kungälv IBK, Svenljunga IBK 2 and Linköping IBK.

Sarpsborg IBK continued to Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Linköping IBK with 1-4. In the Final, Linköping IBK won over Tunet IBK and became the winner of Slutspel in Pojkar 16 (2000).
