FARSTA IBK was one of 81 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2016. They participated with one team in Herrar.

In addition to Farsta IBK, 21 other teams played in Herrar. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Farsta IBK could be found in Group B together with IK Zenith 1, Linköping IBK HJ 20, Frölunda IBK, Team Tramerramer and Göteborg City IBK.

Farsta IBK continued to Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against IK Zenith 2 with 3-7. In the Final, FBC Lerum won over IK Zenith 2 and became the winner of Slutspel in Herrar.

FARSTA IBK comes from Enskede which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Göteborg Cup Innebandy takes place.
