Pixbo Wallenstam IBF was one of 72 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2017. They participated with 12 teams in 10 out of Göteborg Cup Innebandys all 17 categories. Seven teams played until Final in Slutspel; Flickor 12 (2004) won over FBC Lerum by 3-1, Flickor 13 (2003) won over FBC Lerum by 4-3, Herrjuniorer 18 (1998-99) won over Partille IBS by 4-3, Damjuniorer 18 (1998-99) won over Värnamo IK by 2-1, Flickor 14 (2002) lost against Tunet IBK by 1-2, Pojkar 15 (2001) 2 lost against Linköping IBK by 0-3 and Damer lost against Hammarby IF IBF by 2-3.

In addition to this, Pixbo Wallenstam IBF have participated in Göteborg Cup Innebandy before. During Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2016, Pixbo Wallenstam IBF had 9 teams playing in 8 out of Göteborg Cup Innebandys all 18 categories. The team in Pojkar 14 (2001) made it to the the in Gruppspeland won it over Rotebro IS IBK 1 by 2-0.

Pixbo Wallenstam IBF comes from Torslanda which lies approximately 9 km from Göteborg, where Göteborg Cup Innebandy takes place. The area around Torslanda does also provide 26 additional clubs participating during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2017 (Among others: Lindås Waves IBK, FBC Vinga, Varla/Sandö IBK, IBF Backadalen, IBF Älvstranden, Surte IS IBK, Floda IBK, Partille IBS, Mölndals IBF and Särö Seahawks IBK).
