In addition to IBF Backadalen, 14 other teams played in Herrar. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof IBF Backadalen could be found in Group B together with Marstrands IBK, Sävedalens IBK, Team Tramerramer and BKI Sunnanå.
IBF Backadalen continued to Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Pixbo Wallenstam IBF with 1-2. In the Final, Stenungsunds IBK won over IBF Älvstranden and became the winner of Slutspel in Herrar. IBF Backadalen also participated in Herrar during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2016.
