IBK Genarp was one of 54 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2019. They participated with three teams in Pojkar 12 (06), Pojkar 13 (05) and Pojkar 15 (03) respectively. The team in Pojkar 15 (03) made it to the the Semi final in Slutspel, but lost it against Kärra IBK by 3-4.

In addition to this, IBK Genarp have participated in Göteborg Cup Innebandy before. During Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2018, IBK Genarp had two teams playing in Pojkar 10 (07) and Pojkar 14 (03) respectively. The team in Pojkar 14 (03) made it to the the Final in Slutspeland won it over IBF Göteborg by 4-2.

IBK Genarp comes from Genarp which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Göteborg Cup Innebandy takes place. Other than IBK Genarp, the club Bjärreds IBK does also originate from the area around Genarp.
