In addition to IBF Backadalen, 10 other teams played in Herrjuniorer 18 (00-01). They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof IBF Backadalen could be found in Group B together with Hagfors IBS/Edebäck IBF Röd, Lindome IBK, Vaxholms IBF Svart and Fristad GOIF/Rydboholms SK HJ.

IBF Backadalen continued to Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Landvetter IBK with 2-3. In the Final, Lindås Rasta IBK Waves won over Fristad GOIF/Rydboholms SK HJ and became the winner of Slutspel in Herrjuniorer 18 (00-01).
