Sandö IBK

Sandö IBK was one of 81 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2016. They participated with three teams in Pojkar 13 (2002), Pojkar 15 (2000) and Damer respectively. The team in Damer made it to the the in Gruppspel, but lost it against IBK Göteborg by 0-2.

In addition to this, Sandö IBK have participated in Göteborg Cup Innebandy before. During Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2015, Sandö IBK had two teams playing in Pojkar 14 (2000) and Damer respectively. Two teams played until in Gruppspel; Damer won over Gantofta IBK by 2-0 but Pojkar 14 (2000) lost against Lindome IBK by 1-2.

Sandö IBK comes from Vallda which lies approximately 26 km from Göteborg, where Göteborg Cup Innebandy takes place. The area around Vallda does also provide 22 additional clubs participating during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2016 (Among others: Lindås Waves IBK, Sävedalens IBK, IBF Göteborg, FBC Lerum, IK Zenith, Partille IBS, IBK Göteborg, Lindome IBK, IBF Älvstranden and Pixbo Wallenstam IBF).
