IK Zenith was one of 81 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2016. They participated with 5 teams in Pojkar 12 (2003), Herrar and Flickor 13 (2002) respectively. The team in Herrar made it to the the Final in Slutspel, but lost it against FBC Lerum by 2-3.

In addition to this, IK Zenith have participated in Göteborg Cup Innebandy before. During Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2015, Zenith had 6 teams playing in Pojkar 11 (2003), Pojkar 15 (1999), Herrjuniorer 18 (1996-97), Herrar, Flickor 12 (2002) and Flickor 15 (1999) respectively. Two teams played until Final in Slutspel; Flickor 12 (2002) lost against Pixbo Wallenstam IBF by 0-1 and Flickor 15 (1999) lost against Lindås Waves IBK by 0-1.

Zenith comes from Torslanda which lies approximately 8 km from Göteborg, where Göteborg Cup Innebandy takes place. The area around Torslanda does also provide 25 additional clubs participating during Göteborg Cup Innebandy 2016 (Among others: Lindås Waves IBK, Sävedalens IBK, IBF Göteborg, FBC Lerum, Partille IBS, Marstrands IBK, IBK Göteborg, Lindome IBK, IBF Älvstranden and Pixbo Wallenstam IBF).
