In addition to the two IBF Backadalen teams, 16 other teams played in Pojkar 15 (2001). They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof IBF Backadalen Röd could be found in Group B together with Marstrands IBK, Salems IF 2, FBC Lerum 2, Surte IS IBK and IBF Norrköping.

IBF Backadalen Röd continued to Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IBF Göteborg with 2-6. In the Final, Linköping IBK won over Pixbo Wallenstam IBF 2 and became the winner of Slutspel in Pojkar 15 (2001).
